The Beaver Bat Company is a custom wood baseball bat manufacturer based in Long Island, NY. They came to IMI Software to develop a modern, scalable website with powerful eCommerce functionality that will grow with their business. DotNetNuke was the obvious choice.
Challanges
Rather than create over 30,000 unique images, we created a dynamic image generator based on pre-defined images of the 15 solid color bats and 4 sticker colors. Based on the user selection, the appropriate section (handle, barrel and sticker) of each bat are used to dynamically create the appropriate image. This provides the ability for users to see the result of their color choices prior to purchase.
