The owners of the chalet had commissioned the design of their site by We-Like, and then needed a company to turn the visuals into a CMS website, so they could update the content, receive enquiries through the site, and maintain a blog for the Chalet. We knew that DotNetNuke could provide this out-of-the-box and tendered for, and won, the project.
Challanges
All of the titles and navigation elements are image based, so we used the module icon object and rendered the default DNN nav as a list to make this easier with CSS. Search Engine Optimisation was a key element to the client, and we've used clean skin code (XHTML & CSS), semantic titles in the containers and provided guidance on writing content to help with this.
